The Golden Butterfly
This is a kind of reading story for children. Actually the title of this story is The Golden Deer but changed into The Golden Butterfly by me and my lovely friend Haridha . This story was made to prepare our performance in reading story on TEFC subjetc and here the story and enjoy:)
A long time ago, lived a king in india who loves everything that was made of gold
One day he heard about the gold butterfly in the jungle. Then he went hunting with his servants. "Look! It's a butterfly!" One of his servants shouted. There, on a hill, stood a majestic golden butterfly
"Catch the golden butterfly! I want that butterfly" the king shouted
The servants shoot arrows at the butterfly. However, they missed every shoot because of the glare, reflected off the deer's body.
the deer ran away swiftly.
"Where is the golden butterfly?" The king demanded
"I dont know" the servants answered
" If you dont bring me the golden butterfly within three days,I wiil kill you" the king then left the place
the servant walked on then he came upon an elephant trumpeting in pain. An arrow was stuck in its trunk " come nearer. I will pull it out for you" the servant said softly. The elephant became his friend. " I know where the golden butterfly lives. I will tell you the place" said the elephant
"The golden butterfly lives near a waterfall across this pound. if you get to the water fall, you'll find him" said the elephant
"Thank you for your help, and goodbye!" Said the servant
Then the servant found the golden butterfly and tell his problem. Until the butterfly want to go with him to the palace
Finally, they reached the king's palace
"Oh it's the go..gol..golden butterfly!" The king stammered in excitement. " Capture the butterfly" shouted the king
As the servant tried to capture golden dust flew from the butterflies hooves and floated down onto the palace floor
The king was happy and he forgot about the golden butterfly
The golden butterfly ran round and round the palace. Filling the place with golden dust. In their greed, the king and his servants died, buried under the golden dust.
we also made a book of this story but unfortunately we didn't take the picture of this book . maybe it will be uploaded letter . thank you for reading :)

How to make a pancake
Procedure text is the text that is used to explain how to do or to make something
Generic structure :
- Aim
- Materials( ingredients, equipment )
- Steps
- Language features
- Action verbs
- Nouns, noun phrase
- Imperative sentence
The following ingredients will make about 8 10-inch pancakes (more or fewer, depend on
the size). You may change the amounts of ingredients according to the amount of which you wish to serve.
- 2 cups (9oz/255g) self raising or all-purpose flour (See tips below)
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cups (350ml) of milk
- 1/2 tablespoon baking powder
- 2 tablespoons butter/Vegetable oil
- 3 tablespoons sugar
- 2 tablespoons baking Soda
steps :
1. Crack eggs into a bowl and beat until fluffy. Add in the dry ingredients, (omit baking powder if using self-raising flour), and milk. Do not stir mixture at this point.
2. Melt the butter in a microwave-safe bowl.Make sure that it's completely melted; about a minute is sufficient.
3. Add the butter and the milk to the mix. Stir gently, leaving some small clumps of dry ingredients in the batter. Do not blend until completely smooth. If your batter is smooth, your pancakes will be tough and flat as opposed to fluffy.
4. Heat your frying pan to a medium low flame. If you have an initial "pancake"setting on your stove, use that. Be sure to use nonstick spray, or a pat of butter so the pancakes won't stick.
5. Sprinkle a few flecks of water onto your pan. If it 'dances', or jumps from the pan with a sizzle, the pan is ready for the batter.
6. Pour about 3 tablespoons to 1/4 cup batter from the tip of a large spoon or from a pitcher onto the hot griddle(Or your greased frying pan). The amount you pour will decide the final size of your pancakes. It is best to begin with less batter, and then slowly pour more batter onto the pan to increase the pancake size.
7. Cook for about two minutes or until the pancake is golden. You should see bubbles form and then pop around the edges. When the bubbles at the edge of the batter pop and a hole is left that does not immediately close up, flip the cake gently.
8.Cook the other side until golden and remove. Want a deeper color? Repeat the steps for another thirty seconds per side until the pancake is done enough for your tastes.
9. Enjoy! Try adding butter, peanut butter, syrup, jelly, chocolate chips or fruit to your pancakes for a different, more exciting flavor. The varieties are endless. These are the most delectable pancakes you will ever taste.
